It is worth visiting famous snow and ice festivals all over the globe during winter. There are many kinds of ice and/or snow festivals. Some festivals are special, while others are regular festivals. But, before attending these events, there are some things that you should know. What is the weather forecast? How far away from home do I travel? Are there separate events for children and adults? What about food and drinks? What are the prices? Are the prices fair?

Let's take a look at the most well-known ones to help you decide which one to visit first. Below is a list.

  1. Winter Carnival in Quebec City, Canada: This huge party sees people dressed up as their favorite characters and come together to celebrate the coldest day.
