What is the best place in America to spend winter?

There are three areas in the United States with more snowfall. Each region offers unique experiences for snowboarders or skiers.

Mt. Brighton (Michigan), Crystal Mountain Resort in Minnesota, and Breckenridge Ski Resort in Colorado.

Many smaller villages and towns in the Northeast, such as Stowe (Vermont) and Killington (VT).

Finally, you'll find Whistler Blackcomb (British Columbia) and Sun Valley (Idaho) in the Pacific Northwest.

Some of America's most famous ski resorts can be found in the Midwest. These resorts offer snowshoeing and ice skate, as well as a variety of trails. It is also more affordable than other areas for lodging.

Winter travel does not require you to have a lot money. You can also stay in one of many hostels found around major cities, such as New York or San Francisco.
