The Best Places in America to Ice Skate During Winter
Lake Placid, New York and Saratoga Springs are the best places in America to ice skate. Some of these places are considered top-notch resorts while others are simply great spots for ice skating without spending any money.
New York's Olympic Center, Lake Placid is the home of figure skating. It hosts the Winter Olympics four times a year. It is one of the most popular spots for ice skating in the country. A number of public areas are close by for those who wish to ice-skate outdoors. You can find ice rinks in Saratoga Springs, which hosts the annual National Figure Skating Championships, and the city of Burlington, Vermont.
Lake Tahoe is a great place to do so if you want to take your ice skating indoors. There are several indoor rinks near Reno and South Lake Tahoe.
